We are getting quite a bit of confusion and negative feedback from our customers when it comes to changing out a color for an item that has already been selected. In Marksystems, when a color change is done, it will give the option a quantity of zero and no price and just shows the new color. However, in InSearch this shows as two separate line items - one with the removal of the initial color selection, and one with the new color selection. When the build sheet is converted to an addendum, this is split up into two separate addendums - one with the removals and one with the additions. On the customer's end, it can be confusing and several people have questions whether they are being double charged. Is there any way for InSearch to replicate the way that Marksystems would handle a color change?
